The Material Handler administers and operates the Company's materials, including processing and storage of materials and equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring all needed materials are prepared for each construction job.
Oversees warehouse operations and ensures needed materials are available to Construction and Maintenance crews.
Accounts for all materials in the Company's inventory; creates an audit trail through paperwork.
Oversees receipt, storage, and inventory of materials, supply, and equipment, as well as related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
Prepares materials to aide in controlling the flow of Construction and Maintenance projects.
Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of materials and equipment.
Ensures work area is free of debris and always presents a professional image to customers.
Ensures all paperwork is completed correctly, and in a timely manner.
Communicates both orally and written to supervisor in such a manner that is clear and understandable.
Performs work that is consistent with existing management and safety policy.
Required, during emergency situations, to perform the duties of this position before or after regular scheduled work times.
Performs other duties as assigned including duties that may not be required or are not typically performed by a Material Handler, but never duties outside the realm of training.
- A valid Texas Commercial Driver's License and a good driving record.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Fork Lift driver.
